The servioe was fully ohoral, The ohoir and clergy robed in the schoolroom, and, preoeded by an instrumental quartette, marched up the aisle, singing byuin 698, "Rejoice, ye pure in heart." Special psalms, appropriate* to tbe occasion, were choaen. The Magnificat and Nuno Dimittis were sung to a sett|pg by E. B,unnefct, and the anthem w^s, " Oh 1 how amiable pre Thy dwellings.'* Tbe hymns were specially selected for the dedication of the church. The Van. Archdespon Cole preaebed. th,§ pernaon, taking for his tejjt St. J,oh,n. 18.l 8 . Gospel, vi.i e;i, . and also Revelation xi., Q, delivering aja eloquent discourse on, the iu^uenpe ftf Cbust on tbejife of vpan,. At the oloqe of tfce service, Dykes' *< Te Qeurn, 1 ' was sung as a special act of thanksgiving. The recessional, sung as the choir and clergy marched 'down the aisle, was No. 396, " Christ is«jpade our sure foundation."
