» Mdlle. Dolores' farewell concert at Hobart on 12th of February was attended by fully 2000 people, a fitting climax to a record • tour. On her last visit the press praised her exceedingly and it is the same on this occasion. We reprint a few extracts: — "A brilliant and fashionable audience assembled to give this acknowledged ' Queen of ; Song ' a royal welcome, and there can bo no diversity of opinion that Mdlle. I Dolores is by far the greatest artist that has visited Western Australia." — The West Australian, Perth, s "If anyone doubted Mdlle. Dolores' 3 ability to attract an audience with only r the assistance of a pianist, or, having 3 attracted it, to retain the interest and 5 appreciation of her hearers, those doubts \ 3 were speedily set at rest. No other 7 singer that has previously visited here 3 has achieved anything like the success j gained by Mdlle.
