KUUGER CALM AND HOPEFUL.

London, February 9. Kruger is calm and hopeful and confident that the leaders and generals will Dot solicit peace. He continually exclaims " God is with us. He will give a final peace."

Colonel Wing killed three and cap tured thirteen Boers at Brugspruit. Scouts captured ten (including Come Vanzye) at Haenertsburg. Vanmekerk's commando tried to se fire to the Brakpan collieries, but weri repulsed, losing two killed.
