LIEUT. MITCHELL DOING WELL.

Manaia, January 23. The following wire was received by Mr J. D. Mitchell from the Premier last night : — " I have received a cable from Major Pilcher, Capetown, stating that your son, Lieut. Mitohell, and the others who were wounded on the 3rd inst. are in Charleston Hospital, and .doing well. This is good news, and I hope they will^, soon be all convalescent."
