The rush of volunteers to tbe brigade office to-day Bet at rest all doubts as to Auckland being in a position to furnish its quota. The local authorities are confident of the early despatch of men, who can be despatched ia a short space of time.
Wellington, January 22. The North Island section of the Ninth Contingent will he mobilised and equipped at Auckland,
