Charge of Embezzlement. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) New Plymouth, July 24.
*. rurze, late clerk of the Clifton County Council, was charged at -the Police Coon to day with the theft of £75, moneys of the Council. He was remanded to Monday next. It is alleged that the defalcations total over £400. Bail was allowed, self in £100 and two sureties of £100 each.
