Wahganoi, July 20. A moderate entry of cattle came forward. Large-framed bullocks were dull of sale, and went back unsold. Fresh 3-year-old steers were well competed for, but the entry was only limited. Other classes maintained late rates. There was a fair entry of she* p. Store wethers sold at lower prices. For fat sheep the demand did not extend beyond a few pens of fat ewes. Store wethers, in sympathy with the recent drop in the price of fat wethers, receded in value. For suitable breeding ewes a good inquiry •xists. Lambs were at rather Improved prices. Pigs, numerous, were easier all round, the late decline in prices having evidently come to stay. Cattle— B-year-old steers, L 3 18s; 15mohths mixed oattle, 375; springing heifers, L3{ 20-months heifers, L 2 8s; 18-months do., L 2 Is; 12-months, 275; oalvea, 10s.
Sheep— Fat ewes, 10s $ breeding ewes, 7f 8d to 10b 6d t store ewes, in forward order, 8s 2d ; forward wethers, 14s lOd ; Lincoln wether lambs, 9s Id; cull do., 5s lid; shorn lambs, 6s Bd. Pigs— Bacon pigs, 27s to 86s; porkers, 13s to 21s; stores, Us; slip*, 4s 6dto 6s Bd.
