Taranaki Land Board. •
The Land Board met on Monday. , TBANSBEKS, " The board sanctioned the following lease transfers :— S. T. Smith, section 10i < block 3, Hawera, to J. C. Roope; Mrs Goodson, section 8, block 5, Kaupokonui, to D. R. M. Warren ; H. G. Gibson, sections 18 and 15, block 15, Ngaire, to J. Smith ; J. Soanlon, seotion 11, blook 6, Kanpokonui (d.p.), to J. W. Falkner.
ACQUIRING FREEHOLD.
The appended applications to acqtunf" freehold were granted:— Mra Chtrrett, section 14, block 6, Kaupokonui; A. ' Robertson, section 75, block 10, Eanpo* ■, konui.
A letter was received from tbe olerk of tbe Waimate Road Board with reference to acquiring freehold of perpetual lease lands.— The chairman was instructed to direct the attention of the Boad Board to section — of the Land Act, 1892. EXTENSON OF TIME.
The board granted the following ap. plications for extension of time, for im* provements to 31st December, 1898 :—J. Lowery, sec 13, block 14, Opunake ; Mi ' Mouldey, sec 1, block 11, EanpokonnL To May 81et, 1894 : W. Nieholß, see 1^ blook 7. Kanpokonni; A. Peterson, secY 17, blook 7, Egmont.
SALE. It waß deoided to offer seotion 4, block 6, Kaupokonui, for sale. ACCEDED TO. The transfers from Foreyth to Kells and Taplin of rnn No. 2, Opaku, and from Stretton to Jobson, of sec. 14, block 7, Hawera, were granted.
Dr. Faget wrote, requesting that seotion 685 and 686, be pegged and offered for sale* Tbe board deoided that it cannot atpreeenft offer any of the allotments in Stratford* wbioh bave not been surveyed. ' ~
