Land is much enquired for. Buyers of leaseholds are plentiful, but find little offering. Bush land is getting very scarce. The demand is unsatisfied and likely to continue so, the quantity offering for sale being quite insignificant. Sales comprise section 10, Pohokura, 818 acres, on account of McCarty aud Hun^ei:, to Brewer and KruU, at JSI per acre. Section 11, Poh.oku.ta, 850 acres, on account ot ¥. McGuire to Brewer and KruU, at 27s 6d per acre. Lease section 23, Patea, 14 acres, T. Keane to D. Dwyer, at JB2O per year. Sale sections 19, 21 and 54, Alton, on ac- ' count of Public Trustee to William Besky, at £21 ss. Section 1, Matemateonga, 80 acres, on account of E. O. Hendy, at 80s. per acre. Section 2, 160 acres, to A. Sinclair, at £4, per acre. Section 10, 300 acres, to W. E. Spencer, at 35s per acre. Stock.-— At Linooln Street yards yearlings made £2 17s 6d to .£3 6s 6d, store cowb £4, 10s, store bnllocka £5 Os 6d, milkers £5 10a to £7, shorn ewes with lambs 10s to 15s 9d.
