PALMERSTON N., May 23. It has been arranged to run a special train from Wanganui to Wellington on Monday next, to enable the Masons to attend the installation of Sir H. Atkinson as District Grand Master.

We hear that Mr. G. Syme has com* pleated the additions to the Bank of Australasia at Manaia. He will Bhortly proceed with the erection of a six-roomed, house for Mr. Bennett, ontheAuroaroad, three or four miles from Otakeho.

I 'Captain Edwin telegraphs at 2 p.m. :— North-east to north and west gale after twelve hours irom now, with rain ; glass fall again soon.
