A Shocking Railway Accident NEAR SYDNEY.
SEVEN PEOPLE KILLED AND THIRTY INJURED. (reuter's telegrams.) SYDNEY, June 21. An accident occurred to a excursion train at Peat Ferry near Sydney, this afternoon, by which Thomas Wilson, the driver, and three were killed, and thirty persons injured. Three more persons have since died of the injuries received, and it is feared that three other cases will end fatally. All the wounded were brought into Sydney this evening, and a most distressing scene occurred at the station on the arrival of the train. It is believed that the accident was caused by the brake not acting properly.
