AUCKLAND, July 80. About 250 attended a meeting of the unemployed this morning. H. W. Farnall presiding. Votes of thanks were recorded to Sir George Grey and Mr. Moss for the r action in the House of Representatives, and censure on Messrs. Tole, Dargaville, Peacock, and Thompson, for their ap.itliy. A resolution was also passed, with three groans, strongly condemning the action of the Mayor with reference to the unemployed. Some rev lations are anticipated when the Government produce their correspondence with the Mayor of Auckland on tbe unemployed question. Tbe meeting then adjourned to Tuesday next.
DUNEDIN, July 81. John Thaner, one ot the pioneers of the Arrow, was found in Lake Wakatipn. It was understood that be had gone to England. His death is a mystery.
