DEATH OF AN OLD VETERAN.

AUCKLAND, October 25. John Walker, aged 92 a Waterloo veteran, has died at Mount Eden gaol. He bad lately been committed for vagrancy. He was born in India in 1791, consequently was one of the first English born subjects of the British Crown in India. He was in this colony in 1840.
