CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

At the meetiug of the Christchurch Jockey Club Committee yesterday it was resolved to erase the C.J.C. Handicap from the programme of the spring meeting and substitute a race to be called the New Zealaud Cup Handicap, of 20 soys each, with 1000 soys added ; second horse 100 soys ; third, 50 soys. It was decided to have two ste >plechase autumn meetiugs, one of 200 soys, added to a sweepstake of 10 soys ; and another, the Hunt Cup trophy, of 50 soys and SO soys in specie.
