ROBSON'S RECITALS.
We regret that Mr. Bobson should have had a small house last evening ; but there have been several entertainments in Hawera of late, so that the demand for amusement was somewhat doll. However, those who were present enjoyed a rich treat. The recitation of " Clarence's Dream " was a most admirable exhibition of dramatic force, and Mr. Robaon's exposition of the graveyard scene in Hamlet was thoroughly artistic. In the humorous sketches h • was equally at home. His versatility shows him to be a genuine actor, and his readings of Shakespeare confirm his reputation for scholarship and original thought. M. Lorenz's musical performances are of a high order, and his assistance to Mr. Eobson must be very valuable, giving him rest occasionally, and at the same time imparting a variety to the programme.
