NORMANBY. FORMATION OF A TOWN DISTRICT.

Pursuant to advertisement, a number of the inhabitants met last evening to consider the question of forming a Town District. Mr. C. E. Gibson was voted to the chair. The chairman, in opening prt>6&bSingß, said that the time had arrived for a Town Board at Normanby ; and now that tbe Town Districts Bill had become law, there was no reason why they should not proceed. He read extracts from the Act, I and submitted to the meeting a draft pc- [ tition, and a plan showing the proposed - * boundaries. The plan included the original town- :* shipytbe extension, part of Croker's land, : and part of Brett's, in all 586 acres. Mr. W.
