MELBOUBNE, Monday.
The Conference of Committees of the Legislative Council and Assembly met again to-day, when a long discussion took place on the Beform Bill, Mr. Berry offered to amend the same by fixing the franchise for leaseholders and occupiers at Sir Charles Sladen, however, stood out for .£lO for owners, aud £25 for occupiers. The matter was debated at length, without any decision being arrived at, and the Conference finally adjourned till tomorrow. It is generally considered improbable that the Conference will arrive at a satisfactory settlement of the Beform question.
