Section 19, 44a. — This section was unapplied for the first day. David Balneavis, laborer, Hawera, was the 6Uccesshil applicant on We^nes^ay. Section 20, 50a.— David Balneavis, laborer, Hawera; E. Baddeley, F. C. Baddeley, bank clerks; D. Carroll, settler; J. Hartland, D. McLDowi , farmers, Hawera; J. Day, laborer, Adelaide (informal — not signed by applicant). D. Carroll won with No 9 ticket.
Section 36, 50a.— Two applicants: Charles Johnston, laborer, Waitotara; G. Robertson, butcher, Waitara. Mr. Joll drew No. 3 ticket for the latter applicant, and won the section for him.
Section 38, 20a. — This section was unapplied for the first day. It fell to Patrick O'Connor, laborer, Hawera, on Wednesday evening. Section 93, 29a. Br. 39p.— Patrick Murphy, laborer, Hawera, secured this section. It had not been applied for the first day.
