A Turkish circular note to the Great Powers, invokes them to arge Greece 6o abandon her increased armaments, and negotiate instead for a settlement of the frontier question. ? The London Tunes, in a leading article to-day, says "England is willing to join the Great Powers in settling the Turko-Greek frontier question, if France also joins." T. ftf. Healy, who accompanied Parnell on his American tour, and J. W. Walsh, prominent leaguers, who were committed for intimidating a farmer named Manning, and were recently- brought' up for trial, have now 1 bden acquitted. News has been received that negotiations, which have been proceeding at Pekin between M. Butzow, Bussian Minister, and the Chinese Government, for a settlement of the qneeiions in dispute, in regard to the Kuldja territory, are progressing satisfactorily. The denberations of Bussian and Chinese delegates have assumed a most peaceable phase, and it is considered there is every prospect of a complete understanding being- arrived at by the two countries.
