■> Melbourne, Yesterday. , Mr. Berry has abandonfed bis proposed prorogation, on the understanding that the Reform Bill will be at once discussed. The recess is, therefore, indefinitely postponed, and Messrs. Berry and Vale will be unable to represent Victoria at the Intercolonial Conference, when it meets in Sydney next month. Thj Victorian Government has doubled the import duty on oatmeal.
