An amusing incident oocurred while the jury were being called. Prisoner claimed the privilege of challenging any person to whose Bitting on the jury he had an objection. Two gentlemen of somewhat "horsey" persuasion, were thus challenged, Dawson evidently thinking that he had sufficient of the horsey element in Mr. Quinlivan.

Francis Williamson was afterwards examined in bankruptcy. The creditors present were far from being satisfied with the result.
