Hawea, Tueday. At Saturday's sale 600 cattle were yarded. Bidding was somewhat slack, several lots being passed at prices slightly below recent quotations. Subsequently almost, if not quite, all the stock were quitted at prices a little in favor of buyers. Fat cows fetched Lsl7s6d; store bullocks, Lo 12s 6d I to L 5 15s; 2-year-olds, L 4 5s to L 4 10s; ' cows and calves, L 4 to L 5; heifers, L 3 10s; yearlings, L 2 10s. j
