MR. COWERN'S KAKARAMEA SALE.
Carlyle, Friday. At Mr. W. Cowern's monthly sale, held at Kakaramea on Wednesday, over 260 head of cattle were yarded, and nearly the •whole of them sold at good prices. Bullocks fetched .£6 7s 6<l; cows, .£4los to £o; steers, £3 15s to £4> 17s 6d; two-year-old heifers, £3 6s; yearlings, £2 15s to £2 18s 6d.
