CASH SECTIONS.

The sale of the cash land took place on Friday. The bidders, though keen, were very cautious, and the average reached only £6, as compared with £7,fpr v the deferred payment land. The total-Amount realised was JE80,870 155.,'f1d.,' of which JJ7967 16s. sd. had to be paid for deposits, the. termß being one-fourth cash, and the balance within one month,'whiob! can he paid to Mr. Wilkinson, Hawera; Mr. Baddeley, Carlyle ; or at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. Before the sale comnv need, a gentleman put a question to the Commissioner, similar to that put by Mr..G. McLean on the previous day, and received a similar reply.
