LATEST FROM PARIHAKA.

[Specially Telegraphed to Star.]

(feqm our own correspondent.)

Armed Constabulary Camp, Pungarehu, Friday, 2.30 p.m. Thirty;six natives came and erected the fencing yesterday, as usual, but they did not attempt it a second time. They returned to Paribaka soon afterwards. The same number came down to-day, and erected the fencing twice, but the Armed Constabulary destroy ed their very paltry brush fences each time. The natives are very expeditious in erecting their green boughs and doing the fencing, but immediately turn away, at the word of command from their leader. They are evidently not so anxious as formerly to be arrested.
