Armed Constabulary Camp,
Pokehinau, Friday morning.
The Hon. the Native Minister is expected here this morning from Opunake, where he stayed last night.
Ngatai, who rescued Te Manu out of the coach, while on 'his way to gaol two years ago, for an assault on Mrs. Bartlett, of the Telegraph Hotel, Opunake, is amongst the prisoners who will be despatched to New Plymouth to-day.
Fencing was recommenced at the Parapara last night.
Friday, 4.20 p.m.
The Hon. the Native Minister arrived here at 1.40 p.m., and left for Pungarehu at 4 p.m.
Six more prisoners were arrested today.

New Plymouth* Friday.
Twelve more native prisoners will be brought in from the camp to-night. The prisoners are becoming very insolent to their guard, saving all kinds of insulting things to them, as if wishing to provoke them to anger.
