AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. [Spkciallt Tbleqbaphed to Stab.] Auckland, Friday night. Mr. Alfred Buckland reports : — There is a good inquiry for fat cattle, which are in average supply. Best quality maintained last week's prices. Calves in middling quality, but lower in price, and ranged from 24s to 23s per 1001b. Fat sheep short of requirements; prices advanced 5s per head over last week's market; 5d per lb was given. ' . PATEA S.S.
