THE NORMANBY TOWN HALL.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR,

Sir, — Can you inform me whether th» directors of the Normanby Town Hall Company intend to advertise the tender for erecting the building? My reason for doing 80 is, that I heard a rumor to-day to the effect that such would not be done. There are others besides my self who would like to know. By inserting this, you will oblige — Yours, &c.,

Shareholder.

Normanby, August 2, 1880.

[We have heard a similar rumor to that alluded to by our correspondent ; but we can scarcely believe the directors would actinsucha penny- wise and pound-foolish manner. — Ed. Star.]
