LONDON WOOL MARKET.

Messrs. Murray, Koberts and Co. have received the following report by the Suez mail : — " We cannot quote much material alteration since the date of our last report, but tho tendency has been downward, and there has been very considerable irregularity in prices ; the attendance of buyers fluctuating somewhat, and thereby causing alternately a firmer and weaker tone almost from day to day. After the settlement of the French labor disputes, we hoped for firmer rates, but certainly no improvement has taken place; and although comsmnption is reported large in all manufacturing districts, the demand in the sale-room is decidedly weak. There has been so much irregularity in prices that it is difficult to quote the actual state of the market as regards many descriptions, but cross-breds, notably the coarser sorts, faulty pieces, and inferior scoured, have all suffered considerably., as have also medium washed fleece. In lambs there is not much change, and the finest fleeces have altered but little, and have, all through the series, been at a low level in relation to most other descriptions. The series will close on the Bth June, so that there is no likelihood of any further change in values. Up to date, 357,057 bales have been catalogued, of which 21,000 bales have been bought in."
