The cricket mr.tch, Australians versus Yorkshire Eleven, commenced on Thursday at Hudersfield. The Home team in their first innings made 78. Australians, first innings, 145 for three wickets. When the stumps were drawn Groube had scored 50, not out. The bowling of the Australians was dead on the wickeis. The ■weather was fine throughout the day. The cricket match, Australians versus Yorkshire Eleven, was resumed at Huddersfield on Friday. The Australians continued their first iunings, and when stumps were drawn had scored 229, with the loss of only six wickets. Groube was caught out for 61 ; Spofforth, caught out, 44; and Blackham, not out, 42. On Saturday, owing to the inclemency of the weather, play could not be resumed, and the match was drawn in favor of the Australians.

Another very severe earthquake was experienced at Manilla on Wednesday last, by which farther heavy damage was done to the city. The Great Powers have agreed to make a naval demonstration against Turkey in favor of Montenegro.
