Wellington, Fiiday night.

The Evening Post states that it is the intention of the Government to appoint a Eoyal Commission to report on the Supreme Court system and practice, with a view to the simplification and cheapening of legal procedure. It is believed that the Commission will consist of the five Judges, Judges of District Courts, two Magistrates, the Attorney- General and Solicitor-General, and six barristers of the Supreme Court, two to be nominated by the Government, and the other four by the law societies of Auckland, Wellington, Chribtchurch, -and Dunedin.
