Wellington, Tuesday night. In the House of Representatives, Sir George Grey gave notice of a Bill to perpetuate the record ot Mr. Moorhouse's public services in Canterbury. Mr. Murray gave notice of motion to reduce the honorarium of members to ! £100, to abolish the honorarium of members of the Legislative Council, and to lower the Governor's salary. The following Bills were introduced ; — Female Franchise (Dr. Wallis), Party Processions Prohibition (Mr. Pyke). A motion was passed that the " Crown Lands Guide" and important Acts oi Parliament should be sold at country post offices. Mr. Dick moved the second reading of the Licensing Bill. Messrs. Barron and .Stewart approved the abolition of the bottle license. The debate was interrupted by the adjournment.
