THE ENGLISH DERBY.

London, May 27.The London Press confirms a report which has lately been circulated to the effect that the Ameership of Afghanistan has been offered to tne Afghan pretender, Abdurrahanan Khan. The offer is said to have been made in consequence of Abdurrahanan's friendly relations' with the British Government, in order to conciliate the Afghans and maintain the dynasty of Dost Mahomed.
