NOTICE is. hereby given that the Board intend striking a rate of 9d in the pound on all-rateable property in the township of Hawera, according to the provisions of the Rating'A'ct, 1876. The rate will be ptruck on the 3rd day o£ May. 1880, and the rate-book will be opened for inspection on and after the 10th instant ; the rate to be for a period of twelve months from Ist April, 1880, to 31st March, 1881, and shall be payable in one instalment at the office of the Board on Tuesday, the 18th May, 1880.
