THE NORMANBY RAILWAY SITE.

Sir, — In your report of the Normanby Station deputations, in last issue of the Star, Mr. Gibson is represented to have stated that " He believed that Mr. Rees had recommended the station on the Southern Extension, on account of some sections which had been given to him." As no Extension sections could then have been delt with without my knowledge, I am in a position to state that what Mr. Gibson says he believes is absolutely without foundation in fact. — I am, &c, "W.
