Rose Society
VISIT TO MASSEY COLLEGE
The Hutt Valley and East Harbour Rose Society, with the Upper Hutt Garden Circle, comprising 60 people, visited Massey Rose Trial Grounds on Saturday.
The party was fortunate in the weather and the roses were a wonderful sight. Much knowledge about the queen of flowers was .imparted by Messrs. Powell and Barrett, and Mr. Frank .Mason, president of the National Rose Society, was also present.
The trip was made in two large buses and was thoroughly enjoyed.
