EDUCATION IN HUTT VALLEY

Mr. J. Stonehouse, of Lower Hutt, who had served for 24 years on the Wellington Education Board, did not seek re-election. At a meeting of flic Board last week flie chairman, Mr. N. R. Soddon, said that Mr. Stonehouse had rendered great service to education in the Hutt Valley.

Mr. Stonehouse said he would retain his other educational interests in the Hutt Valley, including his seats on the High School Board of Governors and the Memorial Technical College Board.
