Honour for Mr. Hay
MAYOR OF NEW ZEALAND
Councillor Lonsdale laughingly congratulated the Mayor, Mr. E. P. Hay at Monday night’s meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council, on having had delivered to him a letter addressed "Mayor of New Zealand.” He said the Councillors should consider themselves complimented. Councillor Lonsdale’s remarks and the Mayor’s smiling acknowledgment were greeted with applause by councillors.
