Use of Moera Hall
COMPLAINT BY MAORIS l At Monday night’s meeting of the Lower Huit City Council Councillor B. Logie said she received complaints from the Te Aroha Maori Association that it could not obtain the use of the Moera Community Hall when it was required. . The Mayor said some time ago the City Council gave sole control of the hall to the Kindergarten Association, on the understanding that it was made available to other bodies.
It was decided to ask the Kindergarten Association for an explanation regarding Die Maori Association’s complaint.
