Aid To Britain

COLLECTION OF FAT HUTT VALLEY CAMPAIGN Fat si are urgently needed in Britain, and the campaign to collect fat in the Hutt Valley should receive the whole-hearted support of everyone able to help in that direction. Fat may be left in any butcher’s shop in a recepticle provided by the butchers concerned. If donors wish the recipients in Britain to be advised of their names they should stick their name and address on the tin containing the fat. Transport will clear the butchers’ shops regularly and'take the contents to a place where the, fat will be rendered. ’it will then be taken to the basement of the King George theatre, soldprcd up, cased, and consigned to the Ministry of Food in Britain. A house-to-house canvass will be held on July 24. Parcels of food will also be gladly received. These will be packed in the basement of the King George Theatre by a band of hard-working women.
