PLUNKET BALL

♦>- —e WAIWHETU SUB-BRANCH

The Plunket ball to be held by the Waiwhetu sub-branch of the Plunket Society in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, on Friday night, promises to be exceptionally enjoyable.

There will be floor shows by the clever Tommy Petherick and Leigh Brewer, colourful exhibition dances (tango, rhumba and samba) by Jimmy James and Margaret Michael, prizes for novelties, and a gay balloon dance.

Music for dancing will be provided by Phil Garaby’s popular band.
