FAREWELL AT FETONE Mr. W. Ingram, manager of the Petone branch of the Union Bank of Australia, who has been transferred on promotion to Wellington, was the guest of honour at a farewell function recently, when a large number of business associates and friends assembled to wish him success. The Mayor of Petone, Mr. A. M. Macfarlane, congratulated Mr, Ingram on his promotion, and referred to the progress the bank in Petone had made under his management. Mr. Ingrain, in expressing thanks for the gifts, said his stay in Petone had been very enjoyable, and he would miss the many friends he had made. Supper was served at the home of Mr., and Mrs. Munro, Cambridge Terrace, Lower Hutt, who were accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their hospitality.
