TKIRI'TE TO MR. G. PHILLIPS

At last week's meeting of the Hutt Rotary Club Mr. Cordon H. Phillips, who has disposed of Ids business, was I'arewelled by members ol" the club.

In expressing the regret of members at Mr. Phillips' departure Mr. J. VV. Andrews said that they were losing an excellent Hotarian. a good citizen, and one who had rendered excellent service in the sphere of public life. The good wishes of the members would go with him for his happiness and prosperity. In responding. Mr. Phillips said 11. was with great regret that he was losing the associations of Rotary and his many friends. He had always looked forward with keenness to the happy weekly gatherings, which h--> wouiii remember with pleasure.
