FINES IN MAGISTRATE'S COURT. Traffic Inspector Archer proceeded against several motorists in the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hutt iast. week for offences against the traffic regulations. Roy Ernest Arrowsmith, driver of a heavy trade vehicle, was fined £1 with costs 10/-, for having attempted to overtake a vehicle proceeding in the same direction without having made sure that the road was clear. For driving at excessive speed Ezio Feretti, George Isaac and Ronald Raine were each fined £3 with costs 10/-. Colin Home, for riding a. motor cycle that did not have a warrant of fitness along High Street, was fined 15/-, with costs 10/-.
