DR. DUDLEY'S DEPARTURE

, ® —' — ROTARY CLUB'S FAREWELL Dr. and Mrs. B. J. Dudley left ' Lower Hutt on Saturday to take up residence in Nelson. At the last meeting of the Hutt Rotary Club, of which Dr. Dudley was one of, the charter members, the president, Mr. J. A. Jacques, expressed regret at his departure and wished him happiness and success in his new sphere.

In reply Dr. Dudley urged members not to lose interest in youth' work. He said he had had a talk with the Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, regarding the proposed hostel for youths in the Hutt Valley and had found the Minister very sympathetic / towards the proposal. He hoped members' would do their utmost to further the scheme, as,it was desirable that young people should live in a good environment. Dr. Dudley said that he had enjoyed his association with Rotarians and would always be interested in the Club.
