OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION
HUTT VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL Lively enthusiasm and a record attendance characterised the annual general meeting of the Hutt Valley High School Old Tupils’ Association, held in the School Assembly Hall. After the presentation of the annual report and balance sheet the following were elected to office for the ensuing year:—President, Me. T. R. Hawthorn; vice-presidents, Miss A. Ogilvie and Mr. G. Aitken; secretary, Mr I. Hunter; treasurer, Mr. R. Lazarus. A strong representative committee of 20 was also elected. The patron, Mr. J. N. Millard, in a brief speech congratulated the retiring officers on the excellent manner in which they had carried out their duties in the past year. Discussion centred mainly on the association’s activities in connection wth the 21st birthday' of the school next February. During the 21st birthday week the association plans to hold a grand reunion which it is anticipated that' old pupils from all parts of the Dominion will attend.
