B The Hutt Valley Tennis Associa--1 tion which is making splendid pro- * gress, became a full association for * the first time last year; previously 3 it was a sub-association of Wellington. It includes about 20 clubs, 1 with a total membership of 1200. " It will have its own courts at Nae* 3 nae next year. 1 The Lower Hutt Tennis Club, on 1 whose courts the match for the Wilding Memorial Shield took place, " has a full membership of 175. The " popularity of its courts can be guag- * ed from the fact that on a recent ' Sunday no fewer than 95 members 1 turned up for a game. Both grass ■ and asphalt courts are available.
