ALICETOWN TOWNSWOMENS GUILD

<♦; Mrs. A. Cox presided at the July meeting of the Alice'town Townswomen's Guild. After business was concluded, the Lyric Singers of Lyall Bay, put on an excellent programme, Mrs. Chapman i being the leader. They sang several groups of songs, and two duets. Mrs i Chapman herself sang two lovely ' tfongs. After afternoon tea the sing ' ers put on a sketch called "At tno r Photographers" which was well cari ried out, the artists being loudly applauded. Bouquets were presented . to them. •
