Between now and then no doubt, the protagonists of this or that publicly propound their Xriews and seek their convert. * Those who favour this system will • rush to point out the anomalies . inherent in that system, and vice versa, while yet others will condemn both this and that and advocate some other system as avoiding the anomalies of both v .System A and System B. All of which is good sound Democracy. fact remains, however, that rating anomalies will occur unuer any system. Lower Hutt to-day is certainly full of glaring ano- , molies due to the system now in vogue. Whether this system kKbuld be changed is a matter for •tie ratepayers to decide.
