SERVICES CLUB

Armed service personnel continue to make full use of the facilities offering at the Lower Hutt Services Club, the recent attendances having shown a marked increase. The use of the Club is not by any means con fined to men of the Forces, and a | visit will show that women of auxiliaries of the Army, Navy, Air-force and Nursing Services constitute quite an appreciable proportion of those present. Recent week-end activities were sponsored by members of the Canteen group of the vv.W.S.A. who served the teas on the Saturday and Sunday evenings. The artists contributing to the concert programme were Miss Beatrice Taylor, songs; Misses Taylor and Wood, vocal duets; Laurie Hoare, piano-accord-ion solos; and Ann Bryant in excellently performed solo tap dances.
